Before you start:the speaking tasks use your microphone — your recording is sent to Groq, a speech-recognition service, to be transcribed, then deleted; we never keep the audio. You can skip any task; a skipped task simply doesn’t count toward the estimate. The final number is a machine-scored estimate from a sample of task types, not an official PTE score.
A real form serves several items of most task types— ten to twelve Repeat Sentences, six or seven Read Alouds. This run gives you one of each, so it rehearses the exam’s shape, not its length. The per-task counts are on every task’s practice screen.
